Insider Question: All About Instagram Stickers

Instagram stickers are a great way to raise engagement on your Story posts. They get viewers to react or click on the prompts on your Stories. The location Instagram sticker specifically is designed to help direct the viewers to the exact spot the photo or video was taken. This is a great tool for retailers, but how should you be using the location sticker?

Answer 1:

Great question! You can choose any location you’d like for your location stickers in IG Stories. We recommend adding your STORE location to Stories that include images of your items, store hours, or when you talk about products or services you offer.

Answer 2:

We recommend including a CITY location when sharing storefront images or talking about your events. Also, when you share the city location, the city’s official Instagram account may repost your Story, increasing your exposure!

Rarely do we recommend using the STATE location. This might only be applicable if you’re pushing for tourism in your city and want to potentially be featured on the state’s official IG account.
