A question about “Most Recent” ad campaigns…..
When I switch out my post daily, often our Facebook and Instagram Lives are the most popular post from the previous day. When I try to load them as the next post in my ad, I get error messages. Perhaps our “Lives” are too long to be an ad? I just don’t want to miss an opportunity!
Crystal Media’s Answer:
Hi! Here is something you can test;
- Create two separate MR (engagement), one for each platform. Pull one post specifically from FB and one specifically from IG. To do this, navigate to the ad set level, scroll down and deselect FB under Placements. This will enable you to select your live content specifically. By doing this you will be able to select your Lives.
- Test the same as above but for video views instead! By doing this, you’ll be able to run longer video ads on Instagram, plus it lets you know the exact demographics resonating with your brand on each platform, which helps to strategize on specific products/services to promote.
