Crossposting: We Received THIS Insider Question and we had to Share the Answer!πŸ’‘πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»

Come one, come all! Did you know that each Insider member is invited to join our private Facebook Group filled with other Insiders, each of whom is a small business owner? It’s a warm and welcoming group that readily shares successes and tips, along with the guidance from our team of experts.

This past week, we had an Insider ask this question about crossposting a video:

Social media crossposting tips for retailers

Every question posted gets a thorough response from a team member. But in this case, the Insider community also chimed in with their tips to grow an Instagram following.

The answers were so helpful that we had to share them with you:

πŸ’‘ Answer 1: There’s an option at the end of the live stream to save the video to your phone and then you can just create a post on IG. Otherwise, if you already posted the live video and didn’t save it, you can go to your recent live on FB on a desktop. Click the 3 dots on the right side and click download video. The quality isn’t as good, that’s why I always try to remember to save it when I finish recording!

πŸ’‘ Answer 2: Really good question! If you’ve already posted your video, and you’re unable to download the video from the triple dots, you can use a link converter to create a MP4 of the video to download it to your computer, and then post wherever you’d like!

πŸ’‘ Answer 3: If you’re unable to download a video straight from Facebook or Instagram, using a link converter is a great option.

How to Download an IG/FB video using a link converter:

  1. Go to the IGTV/Facebook video.
  2. Copy the link.
  3. Paste the link into the bar in either an Instagram Link Converter or a Facebook Link Converter. (Google has many options)
  4. Click “Download”. (Watch out for spam download buttons and ads)
  5. When your video pops up, click the triple dots in the bottom right and select “Download”. (This should start downloading at the bottom of your web browser.)

See the attached video to watch me convert a Live video from Facebook and download it to my computer!

We are happy to help our small business community through any question and road block they may face! Thank you to our wonderful Insider community for uplifting and supporting each other!

If you’re interested in joining the private Insider Facebook group to ask questions and find support, consider becoming an Insider member! We’d love to welcome you to our community.
