Content Planning: Push through the clutter and engage your audience!

Content: It’s what makes or breaks your social media. If you aren’t posting quality content that your audience wants to see, your business could get lost in the chaos and noise that floods all the social platforms. That’s why content planning is crucial to your business’s success on socials. Below I’ll share some tips on how to best plan your content to keep your audience engaged and coming back for more!

  • Know what your PCG wants to see.

The trick is to know your PCG’s inner dialogue. What problems are they experiencing that your business can solve for them? What are their hobbies and interests that you can appeal to? Here are the top five reasons people follow business social media pages: promotions and discounts, latest product arrivals, customer support, entertaining content, and the ability to offer feedback. This is what they want, so give it to them! At the end of the day, your content should be of value to your customer. And remember to diversify your content- no one wants to see the same type of post over and over again!

  • Your content should be authentic and personal.

We always say that people buy from people. Your content should reflect your brand and your voice as the business owner. Humanize your content by making it personal: Write your copy as if you’re talking to one person rather than a group of people.

  • Know your business goals.

Reverse engineer your business goals. Is there a specific product you want to increase sales for? How can you post about it in a way that will appeal to your customers? Post about new products, top-selling products, upcoming events, or popular things going on in your community!

Follow these content-planning tips to intrigue and engage your audience, and you’ll be a social media rockstar in no time! 📱💪 Share in the comments your content-planning tactics! 😊  Want a deeper dive into content planning? Don’t miss the last chance to purchase your Social Media Day tickets!
