August Tip of the Week – Week 3

Using Pinterest to market your store? If you’re a local brick-and-mortar store it’s important to connect with the locals online, because they are your target audience (they are the ones that can come in and shop!)
One way to do this on Pinterest is to create locally focused boards. Ex: ‘Fav Chicago Restaurants’ ‘Carlsbad Businesses We <3’ ‘Things  to do in Boston’ Get the point?

Make sure the board name, board description and each pin has your city/town listed to help get found in the Pinterest search results (and even within search engines like Google or Bing).

Action item for this week: Add at least one locally focused board. I’d love for you to share your board with us in our members only Facebook group 🙂
