We all know that Instagram rapidly releases new features to help account users create engaging content, but did you know that Facebook also has a library full of features that lends itself quite useful to retailers?
There are many great Facebook features we all like to use—like pinning a post to the top of your page, utilizing the Facebook Banner as a video introduction to your store, or even scheduling a Facebook Live to remind your audience of your Live video! But today, we wanted to narrow in on 3 unique Facebook features that can help retailers’ pages stand out, and further connect with their audiences.
1. Facebook Albums.
This one may seem obvious but we don’t see retailers using them to their fullest potential very often. Albums can be a great way to showcase categories of products from your store so viewers can easily navigate your selection. If you think of Facebook Albums as digital aisles, this can help you create a convenient way to turn viewers into customers. You’re giving them a shopping experience similar to your brick and mortar, but right on your Facebook page!
Tip: Name your Facebook Albums as the same categories or names you give the aisles to your store to make it easy to navigate and familiarize your viewers with your store. You can also add in an album description to help explain an entire collection or product groupings.
2. Post to Facebook Stories.
Similar to Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories are a full-screen video or image available to view for 24 hours. You can film in app, or upload from your camera roll, and add in great features. Two of our favorite features available in Facebook Stories are the Green Screen and a Poll feature.
Tip: Post exclusive content on your Facebook Stories that hasn’t been posted on your Instagram Stories. This will show your viewers that your content is unique on both FB & IG so it’s best for people to follow you on both platforms!
3. Host a Q&A!
You can host a Q&A on your Facebook page right from the “Create Post” section on your computer. All you have to do is select the “Host a Q&A” option, add in the topic you’re answering questions about, and then select your background color and post. This is a great opportunity to have a direct line to your Facebook followers. Inviting your followers to directly connect with you and ask their questions may be a more welcoming and easier way for them to interact, rather than sending an email or leaving a comment on a post. You’re asking them to ask you questions.
Tip: Create Q&As to answer questions about certain events, new product arrivals or lines you carry. This keeps the questions all about one topic, and allows for the viewers to learn more.

Why was I block off from facebook. All I do is forget my password but then a request to use a new password. Can somebody tell me what amI doing wrong ?
Thanks for your question! Facebook is currently playing it very safe with spam account and hacked accounts on their platform. If they believe someone is trying to get into an account that is not their own, they may block the user.
It is also a possibility that your account has been hacked, and the hacker has blocked your access to the account and removed you as an admin. I would get ahold of Facebook and request they look into this. Have you received any emails from Facebook saying your password has been changed?
